How coaches actually get bookings from one bio link

Not a funnel cartoon. A week in the life of a calendar, a Reel, and a page that does not apologize for asking.

Coaching is sold in conversations. Instagram is sold in fragments. The bio link is the awkward translator between the two.

When it works, it is almost boring: same URL for months, calendar first, proof second, and Reels that name the next step in spoken language.

A week that looks like reality

Monday. You post a Reel about a mistake clients make. Last line: “If you want the 20-minute fit call, it’s the first button in my bio.” You do not also pitch the course, the podcast, and the merch.

Tuesday–Thursday. You answer DMs with the same URL instead of rewriting the offer each time. The page already has the call, the who-it’s-for paragraph, and a testimonial that sounds like a human.

Friday. You look at which button was tapped. If “podcast” beat “book a call,” either the Reel was entertainment-only (fine) or the booking button looks like homework (fix the label).

What belongs on the page

  1. Book — Calendly, Savvy, whatever you already use
  2. Who it’s for — three lines, not a manifesto
  3. Proof — one quote with a first name and context
  4. Optional: a free PDF for people who are not ready

If the calendar is buried under a digital product shop, you are running a storefront with a coaching hobby.

Prices and “DM me”

“DM for prices” feels intimate. It also means your exhausted evenings are a helpdesk. A range on the page (“fit calls are free; 1:1 starts at $X”) respects both of you.

FAQ

Free consult or paid?

Either can work. The page must say which, in the button, not in a PDF.

Multiple offers (group, 1:1, corporate)?

Hero = the one you can deliver this month. Others below.

Do I need a custom domain?

Nice later. First, a URL you will not be ashamed to paste in a WhatsApp with a stranger.
